We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Home Health Aide to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide personalized care to clients in their homes, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide medication reminders and assist with medication administration as directed.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including laundry, meal preparation, and grocery shopping.
- Monitor and report changes in clients' health status to the supervising nurse or physician.
- Offer companionship and engage clients in meaningful activities to promote their mental and emotional well-being.
- Maintain accurate records of services provided and report any incidents or concerns promptly.
- Adhere to all safety and health regulations and company policies.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid certification as a Home Health Aide (HHA) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).
- Previous experience in home health care or related field preferred.
- Ability to handle physical workload, including lifting and transferring clients.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
